GE Renewable Energy is calling on innovative spirits to be part of

the Aqua Agents league.

What's the goal of this special unit?

Join forces to reinvent hydropower.

YOUR MISSION ORDER

Teamed up with GE Renewable Energy collaborators, you will have to invent innovative solutions that can revolutionize hydropower, evolve existing processes and create new services.

You will have 3 days to complete your mission, starting on September 24th to 26th, during the WaterPower Canada Conference in Montreal.

Your presence is required for these 3 days.

For this mission, each recruited agent will be
rewarded 300 CAN$.

MISSION 1

NEW PARTNERS, NEW SOLUTIONS, NEW HORIZONS

How to engage with new partners to create new solutions?

Your team is in charge of Strategy and want to find new outcomes that are relevant in the current “new world”. After identifying a new partner in Canada, you will define the hydropower or hybrid solution/service that you could design and commercialize with or for this new partner, who will play outside the energy industry.

MISSION 2

LIVING IN A WORLD OF SERVICES & DATA

How to better leverage the data produced by hydropower plants?

Metropolia is a very innovative North American city which has decided to become a leading “smart city”. Your hydropower plants produce large volumes of data that could be of multiple use and could become an active player in Artificial Intelligence. Your team will propose to Metropolia Leaders a new service built upon data provided by the regional hydropower plants. You will highlight its users, its unique value proposition, its revenue model, any required partners, potential barriers…

MISSION 3

HYDRO IN THE 4TH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

How to benefit from the 4th industrial revolution in the hydropower industry?

Your team is in charge of industrial operations in North America and is asked to identify a change in its manufacturing process based on the usage of new digital manufacturing technologies such 3D printing, simulation technologies... Your team will describe this change as well as the technology required to implement it. You will evaluate the benefits of this new process and address the barriers (cybersecurity, resources or skills management, culture change …).
